Jacqueline Coppack presents several new samples. All of which are extremely good. We start to develop the back pockets at this stage and the positioning on the jean, i.e. closeness to the mid seam. We also develop the inner pockets and the choice of material and colour to use including the inner waist band.

Representatives travel to London by car to visit the London Edge and the London Central Show, an exhibition for alternative fashion and clubwear, to meet new designers. This year, the exhibition was held at the Business Design Center, London. We off set our carbon footprint by planting 2 new Oak trees on the Wirral, England, and, as a bonus, two hitch hikers were dropped off in Birmingham on the way back, reducing carbon emissions even further.

Representatives travel to Warsaw in Poland. They off set their carbon footprint by planting a hedge row on the Wirral, England. In oder to make the most of the trip the representatives visited local manufacturing units, including a manufacturer of hoisery and of leather handbags. Quotes for business printing were also established as were other administrative activities. The reason for the visit was, however, to visit fashion students at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School. The designs presented were excellent. We all sign confidentiality disclosure agreements and design have been submitted in confidence with a view to purchase. These disclosure agreements protect the copyright of the students work.
